Scarlet Pimpernel Tour Closes
(1 April 2001)
The National Tour of The Scarlet Pimpernel closes today in Grand Rapids, MI. The
production opened in New Haven, CT in February 2000. Since then, it has played in 32 cities
nationwide.
SP will now be available for regional productions; licencing is handled by
Tams-Witmark.

SNF Tour Opens

The First National Tour of Saturday Night Fever began previews in Chicago on
Saturday, March 3 and opens tonight for a three and half week run.
Producer Jon B. Platt is quoted in the Chicago Tribune: "Audiences always had a great time in
New York. We thought it would do well as a touring show. And I would now stack our singers and
dancers up against anyone."
